Mario-The mantra of life

Remember the game Mario that we used to play when we were young. It took me so many years to understand what it means to be a Mario.

Mario is a manifestation of life in the easiest and simplest way. The game of Mario teaches us more about life and destiny. We grow in life; move from one stage to other gathering new powers and achieving new feats and then a point comes in life when you choose between going to one path or the other. Wasn't that the same in Mario. The stage of life is set and it depends upon us which path we take and what we do with our lives.

we believe that when we were born, we were born for a reason to complete a task on this planet and that we have a kismet which will take us through our life to the end of it. It is all written and we will do according to that. That is an escapist's way of thinking. We all want to blame someone else if something wrong happens in our life and that is fate and we say it was meant to be.

I firmly believe that we are the Mario of our own lives. Its just the stage of life that is set and how we perform in it and what paths we choose depends on us. Its like having the vegetables cut and waiting for them to cook without igniting the stove. Its the fate of vegetables to get cooked in a cooker provided you ignite the stove.

So ignite the stove of your life to cook the vegetables; for vegetables and stove is given to you, but it is you who has to ignite the stove.

Life will present us with opportunities and problems on its way but how we make use of opportunities or brave the problems depends entirely on us. Lets not blame other for our mistakes and also not give credit to others for your hard work. 

Remember in the game of Mario to cross each stage, there are so many alternate paths and shortcuts and each shortcut you get something to make you more powerful. In life also, there comes so many times when you reach a place where you have to make a decision in choosing between two equally appeasing paths but which one you choose depends entirely on you. Whether you get a facile, trouble-free road or a road full of upheavals is something that you don't know in advance. You cannot got back in time and change your decision , so no point crying over it, and who knows the other roads would be tougher one. So travel the road that you have chosen and work hard to make it a good ending.

We are the Mario of our own lives so behave like one.

Salvation-how do I get it

I eat my bread, drink my coffee, play my video game. That is all I can think of on a day off. Not for a second do I think of those for whom even the bread is a distant dream/ is not in reach; for whom coffee is not even a dream and who do not have a slightest idea what a video game is. But why should I think about them. Are they my obligation? Definitely a big NO. They certainly are not my responsibility then why should I even think of them and ruin my day and that too for those who are already dilapidated. And whose life is nothing more than laying waste for everyone. 

All is well with me and my day and I need not think of them, for God gave them life and he must be thinking of something for them, then come in the way of God. Who am I to do that? Why should I care about others? I don't own this world. I am a common man like many others walking by the road. Do others who are at least as good as me doing anything for them. I guess NO. And what about those moneyed and affluent people who have the power of money in hand to change the face of the world in a day's time. What are they doing for these poor people. Are they coming forward to help them ? No , not much. Then why should I think about it and kill my day. God has given me good life and good health and I should enjoy it rather than wasting my life thinking about these pitiful people who were not given enough by God. Let me not disturb God's will. I am very small to do that.

I have so many good reasons for not doing anything for the under-privileged and all the reasons are correct and not the fake reasons. All I have said is well thought-off and very well understood by me. There are a kind of people who think about helping others but that thought stops at the thought itself when you have so many rationalities in front of you for not doing anything and Newton's law makes it still more difficult for any body to come out of its state of inertia. So we remain in that state because we can think of anything without doing any work but we cannot do anything with just our thoughts. Then there is another kind of people who do not reach even that

far. They never ever take the burden of even thinking about others. They think and feel of themselves as the isolated creatures who live on their own and for themselves. These type of people have themselves as their first agenda in life and their agenda list contains just one item. They have ample number of reasons to be like that and you dare not challenge their ways of thinking.

First kind of people have just one ladder to climb to being fruitful to the community. Yes fruitful to the community. Thats what you become if you don't stop at the thoughts only but move ahead with your actions. Second kind of people have to undergo a thought change. And how to achieve that. The only way to change your thought is by thinking about it.

And if you are the first kind who have at least some thoughts about the children of the lesser God, then together we can change something; change something for the good of the people; help someone live a better life.This will give them not only a good life but would also give us a new goal in life and make our end a happy one and a peaceful for we would have given something back to the world who would remember our name after we are gone. 

This would not only glorify your life but also glorify your death. Think about it again, are you ready to make your life and also end of it a magnificent one.

NOT ONLY THINK AGAIN BUT DECIDE TO WORK NOW. AT LEAST NOW!!!!

My alarm does not wake me up!

Strange, I daily set alarm in my cell phone or my alarm clock yet I never wake up at that time. My alarm clock does not wake me up. The external alarm just rings the bell to disturb me from my sleep but internal alarm does not ring to wake me up from my sleep. When will I wake up from this sleep? External alarms, I hear them everyday but they don't wake me up. God has not given me infinite time to set my alarm. I will have to set it before its too late.

The time is now and the day is today. So set your internal alarm to wake up to all your dreams and make them reality.

Remember by setting you alarm you will wake up to your dreams and not from your dreams. Have your own Urim and Thummim in you always.

As alchemist says,"When a person really desires something, all the universe conspires to help that person to realize his dream".

Nobody will instruct you to reach your dreams, they will only point you to your dreams. And you know all you need to know.

Understand the omens and set your alarm to reach your dreams.

Today is the day

Think about the vast expanse of minutes hours that have gone by and yet we remain unsatisfied by our life. Unsatisfied that we have not achieved what we set out in life for. When will we get what we want. Good but when will we work to get what we want from our life, what we want for our life?

Life runs so fast that by the time we realize it we have already spent half or less than half of it already.So when to start is the question and there is only one best answer to it.Today.

Nothing magical will wake us from our sleep to pull us towards our goals. We will have to break and come out of this inertia. As Newton's first law states: "Everybody continues to be in the state of rest or of uniform motion unless external force is exerted". So try to bring that external force to break the state of rest(some people may be in rest) or of uniform motion.

Achieve what you want to achieve but you need to accelerate for that and then if you succeed or loose , you will have the satisfaction of trying that. At least you won't repent having done that.

Remember 20 years from now you will repent for the things that you did not do rather than for the things that you did but failed.

So Today is the day to start what you want to get from life and for life.

GOD gives us our pocket money daily

We all get our pocket money daily from GOD and it depends how we spend it. GOD gives us every morning a new day to spend. Each day given to us is like a sum of money to spend. The way we spend depends on us. Whether we make profit out of it or make a loss out of it depends on us. And the amount of money that we get depends upon when we wake up in the morning. Early waking up gives you extra time in the day thus you have more money to spend and conceptually more chances of making profits. Because money earns money.

We always make budgets to decide before hand how much money we have also how to spend it and remember that when we were young we used to make time tables for us to study, we always did. Though we never succeeded in achieving our time table fully but still we managed a part of it and it was not satisfactorily for us and then we went on to make a new time table more stricter one. We always knew that we have only one year to pass this particular class and that too we all needed good marks. The whole year was meticulously divided into terminal exams and we had syllabi for each terminal exam and remember how we used to prepare our schedule for all the subjects. What a beautiful habit! But who taught us that habit. No one we were the ones to discover it and we lived quite tremendously with it. 

But as we grew from schools, colleges to our jobs or businesses we somehow forgot that scheduling of our years in a flash. We now have no planning of our time. Forget about the days we don’t even have a clear understanding of what we are going to do in this year or next year or two years from now. We are happy that we don’t have any classes to pass, no tension of the marks in the subjects in the class but still we all are of the same view that schools were better than jobs. Not even a single person would refuse to go back to the school days, given a chance. But the fact remains the same and we are not living in any fantasy land where a fairy would ask us our wish and send us back to our golden days. We have to live in present.

We don’t think of time anymore. And we live as if we are going to live forever which by any chance is not true and I doubt if scientists in our lifetime would be able to find a medicine which from mortal to immortal. We live as if to have unlimited supply of time at our disposal. We now have the habit of living a luxurious life, as I would call it. We don’t have any fix goals for the coming days or coming years and we complain of dull lives. Why not live like children again and plan our time and plan your semester exams and keep yourself up to the mark which would help you both socially as well as mentally. You would be better focused at work and more importantly a better person aware of time and its importance. I read somewhere, “The only difference between you now and five years from now would be the number of books that you’ve read”. A mind awakening thought.

Make a timetable and though you don’t succeed in getting in 100% but still you have sense of time. You would be conscious of time and know what and how time is passing. Getting into a routine life makes us lose our sense of time. Enjoy each day as a gift from GOD. Take each day as a pocket money from GOD and how you spend that whether making a profit or loss depends.
